It is a wild, wild epic. And it all tells the story of how the God that created it all is redeeming it back to Himself. 

Your Bible is a whole universe waiting to be explored. So grab a cup of coffee, crack open your Bible, because we want to explore it together. 

There are some really confusing things in your Bible that we want to make sense of, too. We don't have Bible degrees or think we're right about everything. We just have a love for this incredible transcendent epic. 

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit; Born of the Virgin Mary; Suffered under Pontius Pilate; Was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into Hell; The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; And is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit; The Holy Christian Church, the Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of sins; The Resurrection of the body; And the life everlasting.

WHY BIBLE UNBOUND?

Everyday Bible readers shouldn’t need a bible degree to see what the Bible is doing. During the time that these events were recorded, the audience would have been able to pick up on the themes, motifs, geographical locations, and literary devices that were being used right away. Modern audiences…not so easily. So while although you shouldn’t need a Bible degree to understand the Bible, we love it when the Body of Christ comes together to help each other out.

Bible Unbound is designed to be used as one resource among a variety of others. Making the complex, difficult, and odd parts of the Bible easier to understand; like any good Study Bible, YouTube video, or podcast series about the Bible will do! Bible Unbound should not make you stop reading the Bible, but just the opposite: we want to inspire you to read the Bible with new eyes and a fresh perspective.

Many ask and are curious as to the exact hermeneutical approach I am taking to the scriptures and while I think there are many valuable approaches to reading and understanding the word of God, Bible Unbound specifically uses a historic-literary criticism called the Canonical Method of biblical reasoning which seeks to unify the canon of the scriptures with a Christocentric view.
